FROM THE WATER

In a collaborative effort between the artists Pedro Blas and Doris Kohutek, a new kinetic collection emerges,

"From the Water." This collection draws inspiration from water's fluid motion and ever-changing nature, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in a world of visual sensations.

The artworks capture the dynamic essence of water, with the lines resembling dancing waves on the river Limmat or the lake of Zurich. The colors flow in a water-like ballet, blending vibrant tones and subtle shades. The interplay of light on each line creates shimmering highlights reminiscent of sunlight on water.

This collection embodies the dual nature of water—its tranquil serenity and powerful energy. As we observe these pieces, we are transported to the banks of a flowing river, surrounded by the soothing sounds of water, encouraging moments of tranquillity and reflection.

Similar to water adapting to its surroundings, these works continuously transform before our eyes. The kinetic movement serves as a reminder of life's ever-changing nature, urging us to appreciate the present.​
